It's great way to get to know people and get new pen-pals with the same morals as you and something we all have in common is that we are all LDS -- I think that's really cool! -- Jenny Lewis

I really think you guys have come with a great idea. That's what I'd been looking for. Congratulations. -- Paulo Neves

It's nice to have a place to go and find out about other's who are single, and LDS. -- Geary Prescott

Being new to the World Wide Web. . . this place is incredible with a capital "I." -- Jeanette Leavitt

Thank you for all your help. I really enjoy being able to read about and write to other LDS singles. It's the only way to meet people my age I think. I never thought I would be 35 and corresponding to other singles of my faith with a computer ! :-) But, I am a woman of the "90's" so they say. Anyway, thank you for offering such a good thing. -- December Billings

This is a great page! It is so nice to be able to meet people with the same standards as me. I never have to worry about where the conversation is headed or if the other person might say something that is against what I believe. Keep up the good work. BTW, I linked this page to my homepage (which is still under construction) so that more people can become aquainted with this page. -- Danette Ricks

I have recieved a lot of responses already and I just put my profile in a few days ago. -- Lorraine

The story is this: One day he was looking online for just a pen pal to write to. He didn't know why, but he decided to look in the divorced area. He was intrigued by my profile, so he wrote to me. I was feeling courageous that week, so I asked him if he would like to meet. So we had a lunch date that was suppose to last only a couple of hours. Well, we hit it off, and the date lasted for about 6 hours. We have been dating now for two and a half weeks and we know that this is what we want in life. Thank you so much for creating this place were LDS Singles can meet. I will always be grateful. Thanks again. If everything goes as planned, we will be getting married in June. -- O'donna Bondurant

I think it is a really cool idea and I'm sure I'll meet a lot of great people using the system. Keep up the good work. -- Steven Thibault

It's great that someone is doing this! Keep up the good work! -- Annette Stratton

HI, we're "stranded" on a tiny island (Flinders Island, north of Tasmania, a southern state of Australia), sending messages without bottles!! Tony served (92-3) in the Australia Adelaide Mission, Elizabeth [nee Chick](92-3) in the Australia Brisbane Mission, and its great to find links like this to the wider LDS world. -- Tony & Elizabeth Burton

Why: I met a lot of really neat men while doing this, but have found one particular one that I enjoy writing to the most and he feels the same about me! We're even talking marriage... who knows? But anyway, for the time being we would like to take the time and just concentrate on each other! Thanks for the help! -- Candace Taylor, Charleston, SC

Why: Because I met someone through this service and we are in a serious relationship. A wedding is being planned for the spring. THANKS!!! -- Jackie, Provo, Utah, USA

Love This Site!!! How about chat? I'd love to actually meet some of these folks! Also, A "Lost and Found" section would be nice for those seeking old friends! I know the bulletin board already serves that purpose, but it would sure be nice for those of us searching for old buddies to not have our requests thrown in with all the others. I'm not being critical. I'm grateful for the chance to find my friend, and I love your site. Just a suggestion. -- Pat Lewis

I just wanted to say that I think this was way too cool!!! You guys have gone way over your heads to help others like myself make new friends from all over. Thanks and keep it up!!!! -- Tien Tran

I just wanted to say thanks for putting this site up. I've met several nice people through it. -- Steve

I have a very special friend because of the service you have rendered. . . we're not getting married, but we sure love each other!!! (sounds weird I know, but it happens.....) -- Brent

Thanks for putting your time on such a nice program. I received an e-mail within 24 hours of submitting my list!!! You are great! I think this program will really help to grow friendship within the gospel all over the world!!! -- No Name

I'm a 58-yr-old widow who put my ad in with you last April. I have been able to get alot of enjoyment from your pages, especially that of Sister-share! What a wonderful addition and uplift to my days! I have extra time now that I am retired and disabled, and enjoy 'chatting' with others my age on the net. I'm a widow and content to remain that way with my handicaps, I surely couldn't take care of anyone else and am barely able to do so with myself. However, I'd like to get some others my age and just compare notes, gripes and problems, testimonies and daily routines. PLEASE don't forget to work on the "Senior Citizen" and widow/widower section of your project, too.....????? -- No Name

Am enjoying this section of Internet so much in being able to relate and correspond (via e mail) with other LDS men and women my own age, (not quite 60 yet!) I especially am grateful for myself, a few lady friends and a younger daughter (out of state) who have been, this month, a part of the Sister-share chat line for Church sisters as well. Since I am housebound and cannot have many contacts with the Church people here in Elko, Nevada, and Sister-share line is my contact with people, also, worldwide, and I appreciate your contributions towards the rest of us in this modern, Internet-computer world. -- Virginia Harvey

It's just good to know that people like you are out there. Keep pluggin' -- Kermit

I am a divorced 50's brother who posted a profile on August 2nd. I received over 20 responses and overwhelmed!! I had many more responses than I could handle and quickly weeded them down to about six. That was still overwhelming because it was hard to keep straight what I had said to each lady. On August 9th, I asked that you remove my profile. And then it happened! I received a response from a sister in Logan who had not even posted a profile. Her response was different. After a couple of e-mail exchanges it became obvious that she was the most interesting to me. I began to pay attention more to her than the others. We began talking on the phone and have met a few times and without a doubt I have never met a finer woman in my life. We will be sealed after the first of the year. I think you have a sensational site that can bring people together in a very non- threatening way. Janel and I were initially kidded by our families and friends because we met on the internet, but this type of introduction will happen more and more. Without your site I would never have met the woman who is magical in my life. As corny as it sounds I truly am "Sleepless in Seattle" because of you. Thanks for being on the internet. -- Robin Ruble, Redmond, WA

Job well done. One of the best organized, easiest to use sites of this type... Nice size database to. Keep up the good work. May God bless you for your efforts. I can't express how much it helps when one is searching for friends... and a possible relationship. Here in rural Wisconsin, this is a fantastic option to miles and miles of travel. You have my gratitude. -- Dan Lepinski

I put my listing up on the program in early December of last year. Cherie was visiting a friend for Christmas and her friend had seen the listings. She looked at the listing at the insistence of her friend. She went kicking and screaming as she puts it. Her friend wrote me a note to tell me how special this good Sister was and that she thought we might have some things in common. I wrote to Cherie and we exchanged photos. We both liked what we seen in each other and started to correspond via snail mail. She had sent small notes to all of the single Brothers in the listings and when she received my letter with the photo in it she said she just knew that I was the one. I had been praying for the Lord to send me a help meet and companion and when I seen her photo and read her first few letters I ask the Lord if this was the one. My prayers were answered in the affirmative so we pursued our relationship. I recently flew across the country to meet her in person and we were both a little nervous but we had already fallen in Love through the mail and our feeling for each ther only increased with our meeting. I had ask her before I arrived if we could travel to the Orlando Temple and three days after our first personal meeting I ask this good Sister to be my Earthly and Eternal Companion. She accepted in the Celestial Room of the Orlando temple and we are planning a fall wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. She has two very fine living at home children and I have three not living at home. We are both looking forward to raising her children and upon retirement we plan on spending some time in serving the Lord as a full time missionary couple. Hopefully in a third-world country. Thank You for providing this great service to us and other single members in the church. Merrill Strong

Hello, my name is Katie and my story started in March 1996. I had always heard a lot about the internet and all the cool sights that can be found by surfing around finding new things. Well, after only having the internet for about a week I stumbled upon your LDS Friendship Worldwide page. As I browsed through the profiles of several guys around my age I came upon one that caught my attention immediately. I read through it and found out his name was Ryan, where he lived, and when he planned on going on a mission. The thing that made him very interesting to me was that it said that he planned on attending USU which is very close to where I live. I had never written anyone that I didn't know before hand so I found it a new experience for me. When I wrote him it sounded so much like he was suppose to know me that he wrote back wondering if he should know me from somewhere. I explained how he didn't but I would like him to. We wrote back and forth for about a month before we exchanged pictures through the regular post office mail system. When I recieved a photo of him I thought that I had died and gone to heaven since he was so incrediablly handsome!! He lives in the same town that my sister does so I arranged with my mother to drive down there to see him. We finally got to meet face to face May 18-19, 1996. It is amazing how we became instant friends as if we had known each other from some where. I spent all of Saturday evening and some of Sunday with him before my mother and I had to drive the four hours to get back home. I will never forget the way that he looked into my eyes and made me feel like we were the only two people in a world that could pass by and as long as we were with each other it didn't matter. I think that the hardest moment in my life was having to say good-bye not knowing when I would see him again but I promised that I would go to his farewell even if I have to sacrifice to get down there. Out of pure luck he is coming to up and we will spend how ever many hours we have together just enjoying each others company like we did at our first meeting. We have continued to email each other talking about the future and the possibility of what might be. We both feel strong feelings towards each other and it will be hard to have to mail each other through the post office but it will be worth it to keep the line of communication open. I would like to thank this sight for bringing us together and making my life so much happier!! It is a wonder how someone can put their name and email address on page to be found by a total stranger who writes back to become two love stricken people who only dream of one day being together for eternity. Thank you for helping me to find my real life prince charming that can make all my dreams come true!! -- Katie

I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done to connect the brothers and sisters and help the gospel to grow through the internet. May the Lord bless you. -- Julie Siler
