The LDS Friends Worldwide Newsletter October 31, 1997 1) Greetings! 2) Information about JOIN function and message boards. 3) About removing email and changing email. 4) About a magazine, and a mall. ************************************ 1) We hope you all have a great Halloween, and that this month was a success for you. Like clockwork we continue to hear every month about your successes online, whether marriage, engagement, or friendship. ************************************ 2) We regret that because of overload of megabytes to our site the information for the past few months for the categories single women 12-17 and 18-19 was lost. We apologize for this. We continue to struggle to find time and money to keep everything together. For those whose listings were lost please enter your information again. Over this weekend we should be able to activate again the JOIN function which we had to stop temporarily in order to maintain the site. The same goes for the message boards. Now the sisters won't have to carry on in the priesthood board:) ************************************ 3) Also we would like to apologize for the length of time that many of you have had to wait to get your listings removed or your emails changed. Some of you have mentioned that you needed to change or remove your email because of work rules, or you may have moved, or received annoying emails from others. Roger continues to be busy with employment, but I'm going to have more free time when I graduate soon. We've decided to make an extra effort at this time to keep up the site at this time, so we anticipate a lesser waiting time for those important listing changes to be made. ************************************ 4) We previously made mention about a magazine, which has been postponed on account of the difficulties of maintaining the site. Now, we expect the magazine to begin by next week. The magazine, FriendsZine, will carry on similarly as before. We want to thank the editors
